This Let's Play is all about one of my favourite characters, Brandi Broke. I always found the Broke family quite a challenge to play in The Sims 2 due to all their problems: poverty, lots of mouths to feed, a single-parent family and a teenage son who grew up badly. So, I thought it would be fun to make a Let's Play that told the entire life story of Brandi Broke beginning in Riverview.
In The Sims 3, Brandi's parents, Bob Newbie and Betty Simovitch, are teen sims residing in Riverview. I had them grow up, fall in love, get married and become late-in-life parents to a new daughter who they name Brandi.
This Let's Play will follow Brandi's life growing up in Riverview and following her move to Pleasantview. So it will be both a Sims 3 and Sims 2 Let's Play.
One final thing -- the Let's Play will follow the story threads of my Sims 2 machinima soap opera, Pleasantview. In future episodes, there may be some spoilers for story events that will come to pass in the soap opera, but I will give a spoiler warning when this happens.

Rules and goals
The "rules" for this Let's Play are fairly relaxed, however I won't be using cheats aside from the occasional use of 'moveobjects on'.
Nraas' mods will also be employed for story progression and other miscelleanous things, like making the Newbies pay taxes!
There are some goals I will attempt to have Brandi achieve throughout her life, here they are so far:
- Brandi must gain the following traits: Good, Couch Potato, Family Oriented, Natural-Cook, Unlucky.
- Never achieve higher than a B at school.
- Achieve maximum level in cooking.
- Go steady with Skip Broke as a teen.
- Become pregnant as a young person.
- Marry Skip Broke.
- Live in a trailer.
- Have two sons (Dustin and Beau).
- Move to Pleasantview when Beau is a toddler.
